Trump Appoints Kari Lake as Head of Voice of America
President-elect Donald Trump has announced his choice of Kari Lake as the new director of Voice of America. Lake, a devoted supporter of Trump, previously ran for governor of Arizona and also sought a Senate seat. She will now lead the congressionally funded broadcaster known for its global news reporting.
