Trump Calls for the Arrest of Jack Smith

Former President Donald Trump is calling for the arrest of special counsel Jack Smith after federal prosecutors revealed that some evidence in the Mar-a-Lago classified documents case is no longer in its original form.

Trump took to Truth Social, to demand, “Arrest deranged Jack Smith. He is a criminal,” in response to the court filings from prosecutors. Following this, Trump posted a series of messages on Newsmax criticizing Smith’s handling of the case.

According to Newsweek, Smith’s office admitted that the condition of the evidence retrieved from Mar-a-Lago by the FBI is inconsistent with the original court statements, revealing changes within the boxes of documents that were seized.

In another Truth Social post, Trump accused the “Documents Case” of being an Election Interference Scam orchestrated by Joe Biden and Jack Smith. He called for the immediate end to the “Witch Hunt” and described the situation as a “BOXES HOAXES.”
