Trump denounces unjust treatment of Christians

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump spoke out against the persecution of Christians by the Biden administration and promised that “no one will be touching the cross of Christ under” a potential second Trump administration.

These remarks were made by Trump during his speech on Thursday at the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) convention in Nashville, Tennessee. He emphasized the importance of defeating what he called a “wicked system” and returning to equal justice under the rule of law.

During his speech, Trump also criticized the Biden Department of Justice for targeting religious believers, specifically referencing the case of six pro-life activists who were handed lengthy prison sentences for protesting outside an abortion facility in Tennessee. Trump described the charges against them as “outrageous” and accused the Biden DOJ of persecuting Christians.

Trump reassured the audience that under his administration, the cross of Christ would be protected and that he would not allow pressure groups to silence religious believers. He warned Christians that they cannot afford to be complacent in the face of persecution.

Trump’s speech at the convention lasted 75 minutes and touched on the need for Christians to stand up against the corrupt persecution by the current regime. He emphasized that the radical left is targeting all Americans who prioritize their allegiance to the country and to their creator.

Two days after his speech at the NRB convention, Trump delivered a keynote address at CPAC outside of Washington, D.C.
