Trump dismisses ‘Fake Fani Willis Case’ in Georgia: Claims ‘Game Over’

Donald Trump sparked a wave of reaction criticizing Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney Fani Willis, during her testimony in a hearing Thursday over her alleged misconduct. A judge is set to decide if it’s enough to disqualify Willis and Nathan Wade from prosecuting the case.

Trump wrote on Truth Social, saying a news report stated “game over” for the case, calling it another scam coordinated with the Biden White House for the purpose of election interference. House Judiciary Chairman, Jim Jordan, and Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Andy Biggs, also criticized Willis and Wade for their alleged misconduct.

A CNN columnist stated that Willis and Wade “need to step aside.” Willis and Wade were questioned and accused of misusing taxpayers’ money and participating in a romantic relationship while working on the case against Trump.

Willis was upset at the line of questioning from defense attorney Ashleigh Merchant and is scheduled to return for a second day of questioning Friday. Meghan McCain commented that “Fani Willis for the new season of Real Housewives of Atlanta!”

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report.
