Trump has a 2-Point Lead Over Biden in Marquette Poll

Republican presumptive nominee Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden by two points in their general election battle. This lead increases to three points when Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is added to the mix, according to the latest Marquette Law School poll.

In a head-to-head matchup, Trump leads Biden 44% to 42%, with 13% stating they would vote for someone else. With RFK Jr. included, Trump leads Biden 41% to 38%, with Kennedy garnering 14% of the votes, as per the survey released on Wednesday.

In an interview with Newsmax this week, Kennedy mentioned that he believed he was drawing more votes away from Trump at this point in the election cycle. However, he expected this to change closer to the November election day.

Despite his beliefs, the Marquette poll shows that RFK Jr. has a 1-point impact benefiting Trump.

Trump currently leads Biden by plus-0.6 in the RealClearPolitics polling average. In Wisconsin, where Marquette is located, Trump also holds a plus-0.6 edge in this key swing state.

Marquette Law School surveyed 1,000 adults from March 18-28 with a margin of error of 4 points.
