Trump in New York seeks to win over Biden’s Black and Hispanic supporters

Donald Trump held a rally in New York, a deeply Democratic stronghold, in an effort to appeal to Black and Latino voters who may be losing support for Joe Biden.

This event, in a location where Trump was heavily defeated in the 2020 election, continues his trend of visiting traditionally liberal states, such as New Jersey and Minnesota.

“He’s from New York, I don’t mind him being here,” said Bronx resident George Marrero, reflecting on Trump’s visit.

The Trump campaign did not provide details about the rally, but a campaign spokeswoman mentioned that New York state had suffered under Biden and that Trump would focus on restoring law and order.
