“Let’s celebrate everything we believe in: WINNING! Join my special Trump Community,” Trump stated in an X post.

The Trump “meme” coins were initially priced at $10 each but surged to a value of $70 as a wave of buyers started acquiring the coins, driving up the price.

According to the official website for Trump’s crypto coins: “this Trump Meme honors a leader who never gives up, regardless of the challenges. Join the Trump Community – we’re dedicated to fighting for what matters.”

“On July 13, 2024, President Trump faced death and emerged victorious! With his fist raised and the iconic rallying cry FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT, President Trump showcased what true leadership is. His resilience sparked a movement, becoming one of the most iconic memes of this century,” the website continued.

The Trump coin was created by CIC Digital, a subsidiary of the Trump Organization, with a current supply of 200 million coins available.

The website noted plans to release a total of 1 billion coins over the next three years, with CIC Digital and “Fight Fight Fight LLC” collectively owning 80% of the coins.

The website emphasized that the Trump memes “are intended to serve as a representation of support for, and engagement with, the principles and values embodied by the symbol ‘$Trump’ and its associated artwork, and are not meant to be, nor shall they be regarded as, an investment opportunity, investment contract, or security of any kind.”

Trump has been a long-time advocate for cryptocurrency, and this recent venture further solidifies his commitment to decentralized currency.

Moreover, Trump has recently appointed cryptocurrency enthusiast Howard Lutnick to lead the Commerce Department, indicating his intention to support the growth of cryptocurrency during his second term.

Additionally, First Lady Melania Trump has introduced a meme coin of her own. It currently boasts a market cap exceeding $1 billion, with trading around $5 per coin.

“The Official Melania Meme is now live! You can purchase $MELANIA today,” she announced in an X post.
