Trump Refuses to Cancel Clinton, Iowa Show: ‘There Was No Way I Was Cancelling’

Former President Donald Trump arrived in Clinton, Iowa, for his campaign rally three hours after it was scheduled to start. He said that he had a “hell of a trip” from Newton, Iowa, where he’d spoken earlier. However, he told his enthusiastic audience that there was “no way I was canceling” the event.

“We had a great time in one of your very nice districts,” Trump told the enthusiastic audience at a high school in Clinton. He also mentioned that they decided to rent a small plane to get a better view and that they faced a delay as the small plane didn’t work as expected.

Trump shared that his campaign had suggested canceling the rally, but he was determined not to do so. He expressed gratitude towards the people of Clinton for their support, saying, “I wouldn’t have the courage to [cancel], if you want to know the truth.”

Trump also emphasized the importance of the upcoming election and thanked the people of Iowa for their support.
