Trump Set to Reveal VP Selection ‘At the Convention’
Former President Donald Trump recently mentioned several potential choices for his running mate in the 2024 presidential election, stating that he would announce the decision “sometime during the [GOP] convention” in July.
In an interview with News 12 after his rally in New York City, Trump shared that former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley will have a role in his team, following her announcement of support for Trump in the upcoming election.
Although Trump did not directly disclose his top three picks for vice president, he did mention individuals like Sens. JD Vance, R-Ohio, and Marco Rubio, R-Fla., as well as Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-NY, and former HUD Secretary Ben Carson as potential candidates.
The GOP convention is scheduled to begin on July 15.
