On Tuesday, Trump signed an executive order that mandates the assistant to the president for domestic policy to provide a list of “policy recommendations within 90 days for safeguarding IVF access and significantly decreasing out-of-pocket and health plan costs related to IVF treatment.”

“It is the policy of my Administration to guarantee dependable access to IVF treatment by alleviating unnecessary legal or regulatory constraints to make IVF significantly more affordable,” the order reads.

“I believe that women and families, along with their husbands, are very grateful for this,” Trump remarked.

During his 2024 presidential campaign, Trump committed to implement supportive policies for IVF treatments.

“Today, I am proud to announce that under the Trump administration, your government will either cover, or mandate your insurance to cover, all expenses related to IVF treatment,” the president stated at a campaign event in Michigan this past August.
