Trump Supports Opponent in Race Against Virginia Rep. Bob Good
Former President Donald Trump endorsed Virginia Republican state Sen. John McGuire, who is trying to unseat House Freedom Caucus Chair Bob Good in the state’s 5th Congressional District.
Trump criticized Good in a post on Truth Social on Tuesday, stating that Good is not good for Virginia or the USA, highlighting McGuire’s credentials and expressing his support for him.
Trump emphasized his commitment to making America great again and highlighted McGuire’s background as a Navy Seal and state legislator who prioritizes putting America first. He also criticized President Joe Biden’s policies, especially regarding border security, expressing his confidence in McGuire to address these issues.
Good recently attended Trump’s paperwork trial in New York along with other Republican lawmakers, as reported by The Hill.
