Trump Unveils Comprehensive Veterans Plan in New Hampshire

During a campaign stop in New Hampshire, former President Donald Trump criticized President Joe Biden for undoing reforms made during his administration in care for veterans. Trump outlined his agenda for veterans, including restoring accountability at the Veterans Administration, preventing veteran suicides, stopping the VA from funding gender transition care, and reinstating his ban on transgender persons serving in the military. He claimed that his administration had made significant improvements to the VA following scandals during the Obama administration, but these reforms were reversed under Biden. Trump pledged to bring back the VA Accountability Act, which makes it easier to fire inefficient VA workers, and said he would direct his Secretary of Veterans Affairs to fire every corrupt VA bureaucrat. Additionally, Trump announced plans to use settlement funds from a lawsuit involving fired VA workers to build a new hospital in New Hampshire. He promised that this new facility would ensure that New Hampshire is no longer the only state without a full-service VA hospital.
