President Donald Trump has decided to revoke Dr. Anthony Fauci’s security detail. This action follows the president’s remarks about government officials not requiring indefinite security measures.

“When you work for government, at some point your security detail comes off. You can’t have them forever. So, it’s very standard,” Trump stated to reporters in North Carolina.
“They all made a lot of money. They can hire their own security as well… I have some good recommendations for excellent security personnel,” Trump added. “Fauci made a lot of money. They all did.”
JUST IN: President Trump has terminated Dr. Fauci’s security detail, stating that he has earned substantial income and can cover his own security costs.

Trump mentioned he would provide Bolton and Fauci with some “good leads” for security personnel they could hire independently.
Moreover, along with revoking Fauci’s taxpayer-funded security, Trump has also terminated the security details for former National Security Advisor John Bolton, former State Department official Brian Hook, and former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
