Trump’s Make America Great Again Inc. Raises $70 Million in May, Prepares for $100 Million Advertising Campaign
MAGA Inc., a Super PAC supporting former President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign, has reported raising nearly $70 million in May, as per a confidential memo obtained by Newsmax.
The CEO of MAGA Inc., Taylor Budowich, stated in the memo that they are planning to launch a $100 million ad campaign leading up to Labor Day.
According to internal polls, Trump is leading Biden in seven battleground states, with significant margins in North Carolina, Nevada, Arizona, and Georgia, and either leading or tied in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, as mentioned by Budowich.
Combined with Trump’s campaign’s $300 million fundraising haul, a total of over $370 million was raised in May for the former president’s re-election efforts.
Despite Trump’s felony conviction, Budowich pointed out that voters continue to stand behind the former president.
“Large majorities believe the country has worsened on several critical issues, and President Trump’s favorability and job approval ratings have actually increased this year, while those same measures have declined for Joe Biden,” Budowich noted.
Although President Joe Biden is raising more money, Budowich highlighted that he has a base problem, with Trump’s approval ratings increasing among Black voters, Hispanic men, and white suburban women, key demographics for Biden’s re-election.
“After a $30 million effort, Democrats are not aiming to win, they are aiming to avoid losing,” Budowich remarked.
MAGA Inc. has matched the spending of the Biden campaign nearly dollar for dollar in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, spending $11.2 million compared to Biden’s $12.4 million. The PAC emphasized the importance of going on the offensive in states like Georgia, Nevada, and Arizona, states crucial for Trump’s re-election.
“President Trump continues to champion his America First agenda on behalf of every American, despite facing a sham conviction, biased media, and a corrupted government working against him,” said Budowich. “As long as we all continue to do our part, President Trump is well positioned to win in November. MAGA Inc. will continue to allocate every dollar we raise towards ensuring President Trump’s victory.”
