Trump’s Pollster Tells Newsmax: Biden’s Approval Ratings are Disastrous

According to pollster Jim McLaughlin, President Joe Biden’s poll numbers remain poor with less than six months until Election Day. Speaking with Newsmax on Monday, McLaughlin, who worked on former President Donald Trump’s campaign, expressed his lack of surprise at the recent New York Times-Siena poll showing Trump leading in key battleground states.

McLaughlin highlighted Biden’s 61% disapproval rating in battleground states, calling it disastrous for a Democratic presidential candidate. He noted that Biden’s disapproval ratings among independents in some states were over two-thirds. The New York Times poll showed Trump leading by six points in Arizona, nine points in Georgia, and 13 points in Nevada.

McLaughlin pointed out that in these polls, Trump was on par with Biden among young people and Hispanics, emphasizing the troubling reality facing Democrats. He also mentioned the advantage Republicans have in terms of potential vice presidents, contrasting Kamala Harris’ unpopularity with Biden’s.
