U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi cautioned Democrat Representative Jasmine Crockett to “tread very carefully” after Crockett stated her desire to see Special Government Employee (SGE) Elon Musk “taken down.”

Bondi’s caution comes in response to Crockett’s (D-Texas) support for the over 500 planned “Tesla Takedown” protests set for March 29th.

Recent months have seen several arson incidents involving Teslas and Tesla dealerships across the U.S., which the Trump administration has equated to domestic terrorism.

The Democrat-led “Tesla Takedown” website declares that they are protesting Musk due to his influence in the Trump administration, which they believe is “destroying our democracy.” They assert that “we are taking action at Tesla to stop Musk’s illegal coup.”

Despite the numerous arson attacks and threats, the site insists it is “a peaceful protest movement” that “opposes violence, vandalism, and destruction of property.” They emphasize that this protest is a lawful exercise of their First Amendment right to peaceful assembly.

“March 29 is my birthday, and all I want for my birthday is to see Elon taken down,” Rep. Crockett wrote. “As a member of the DOGE Oversight committee, I’ve learned that the only language those in charge understand right now is money.”

In a Sunday interview on Fox News, Bondi responded to Crockett’s comments with a strong warning.

“This is domestic terrorism, and here you have this congresswoman, Crockett, calling for attacks on Elon Musk on her birthday,” Bondi stated. “‘Let’s take him out on my birthday,’ she says. Yet she claims, ‘Oh, I’m not calling for violence.’”

“As an elected official, she needs to tread carefully, because we will protect Elon Musk and all Tesla owners across this country,” she continued. “This isn’t just about safety; domestic terrorism must end in our country.”

“We have a dedicated Task Force,” Bondi added. “These are not isolated incidents, and these aren’t just vandalism. These are Molotov cocktails being thrown at Tesla dealerships, and they’re attempting to ignite Tesla charging stations in residential neighborhoods.”

Bondi also revealed that three individuals have been arrested in connection to the “Tesla attacks.”

“These actions could lead to significant damage, and we must inform the public that three individuals are in custody right now. They face severe and swift consequences, with potential sentences of up to 20 years in prison,” Bondi explained. “We are taking these charges seriously and examining every angle, especially if this is a coordinated effort.”

Crockett reacted to Bondi’s caution on Sunday, asserting that her comments “didn’t incite violence.”

“I want to clarify that I have never condoned violence in any form,” she stated. “However, I will not excuse violent individuals, like those from January 6th. So Pam Bondi, if you’re concerned about terrorism, perhaps you should have a discussion with your boss about re-arresting those he released who were involved in January 6th.”
