US Appeals to Moscow for the Release of Imprisoned Russian-American Journalist Kurmasheva
The U.S. Embassy in Moscow is urging Russia to release Alsu Kurmasheva, a Russian-American journalist working for U.S.-funded Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) who was recently imprisoned in what RFE/RL has described as a “mockery of justice.”
