US Catholic Bishops File Lawsuit Over Suspension of Refugee Program Funding
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration on Tuesday in response to its sudden termination of funding for a refugee resettlement program, describing the move as illegal and detrimental to newly arrived refugees as well as to the country’s largest private resettlement initiative.
