Will Scharf tells Newsmax that New York Judge should have recused himself

According to Trump attorney Will Scharf speaking to Newsmax on Wednesday, the judge overseeing the Trump case in New York should have recused himself due to conflicts of interest.

Scharf stated on “Eric Bolling The Balance” that they had tried to have Judge Merchan recused from the case, but the motion was denied. They plan to challenge this decision on appeal if necessary after the trial, highlighting Merchan’s biases and conflicts of interest.

Scharf criticized the trial for having a biased judge and lack of real evidence from the prosecution, stating that the case was unjustified and should never have gone to trial, putting President Trump through a month of baseless allegations.
