Wisconsin Supreme Court Rules Elections Chief Can Stay in Position Amid Controversy




The Wisconsin Supreme Court delivered a unanimous decision on Friday, allowing the state’s nonpartisan chief elections official to keep her position. This came despite attempts by Republican lawmakers to remove her following the 2020 presidential election, as she has not been reappointed or confirmed by the state Senate.
