Zelenskyy Reveals Ukraine Has Received Just $75B of $177B U.S. Aid, Questions Disbursement – One America News Network

In a recent discussion, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asserted that Kyiv has received approximately $75 billion out of the at least $177 billion allocated by the Biden administration, raising doubts even among the staunchest supporters of Ukraine funding.

“When I hear — both historically and currently — from the U.S. that America has supplied Ukraine with hundreds of billions, as a president of a wartime nation, I must say — we’ve received [no] more than $75 billion,” he noted during a recent interview with the Associated Press.
“Therefore, when discussions emerge about $177 billion or even $200 billion, that’s simply untrue. We’re discussing tangible support here, as this aid arrived in the form of military support and not cash, which totaled approximately U.S. $70 billion,” he elaborated.
The Ukrainian president further expressed gratitude for U.S. backing, stating, “But when it’s claimed that Ukraine obtained $200 billion to bolster the army during this conflict — that’s not the case. I have no idea where that money went.”
It remains uncertain where the more than $100 billion in military assistance sent under the Biden administration has gone, or whether Zelenskyy is truthful in asserting he has not received the funds.
The White House has not yet addressed Zelenskyy’s remarks.
In the meantime, President Donald Trump has been pursuing a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.
“We have meetings and discussions planned with various stakeholders, including Ukraine and Russia. I believe those dialogues are progressing positively,” Trump commented on Sunday.
Trump’s designated special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, retired Army Lt. Gen. Keith Kellog, emphasized the significance of resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict as essential to “our national security interests.” However, he has also pointed out that Ukraine’s military actions against Russia have been debilitating the Russian army, thereby advancing U.S. military goals.
“Considering the financial support the United States has offered, which exceeds $174 billion, along with the new alliance formed between Russia, North Korea, China, and Iran — that was previously non-existent,” he remarked.
Zelensky recently voiced concern regarding Trump’s negotiations to end the war with Russia without a Ukrainian representative, labeling such discussions as “dangerous.”
“If there are direct conversations between America and Russia, excluding Ukraine, I view that as quite perilous,” Zelensky warned. “They may pursue their own diplomatic relations, but discussing Ukraine in our absence is dangerous for all parties involved.”
Zelensky reiterated that any talks between the U.S. and Russia, without Ukrainian involvement, would legitimize Putin’s invasion, subtly cautioning the Trump administration.
“This would imply that any nation could act in such a manner. It would serve as a signal to other world leaders contemplating similar actions.”
Trump’s envoy did not disclose how Trump intends to exert pressure on both sides, although he vaguely mentioned plans to negotiate “something significant.”
