Absurd Oregon DEI Push-Out Proves Woke Culture is Still on the Rise
Finally, the issue of cisheterosexism will no longer affect the forests of Oregon!
This is due to the removal of Mike Shaw, the No. 2 at the state’s forestry department.
His supposed offense? Allegedly focusing on hiring the most qualified candidates for the job regardless of gender and identity.
How outrageous! Doesn’t everyone know that preserving forests must come after accommodating the feelings of gender-confused individuals?
The DEI strategist at the forestry department, Megan Donecker, appears to have played a role in Shaw’s removal.
She claimed that six queer-identifying staff members felt unsafe or uncomfortable at work because they couldn’t freely discuss pronouns.
Conversations about pronouns are apparently crucial for successful forestry efforts.
Shaw’s true offense was suggesting that the department should prioritize taking care of trees over DEI efforts, despite its substantial budget.
It’s almost comical to imagine someone like Donecker orchestrating Shaw’s downfall over pronouns.
However, the serious issue at hand is the blatant attack on Shaw for prioritizing qualified candidates.
This indicates a willingness to put ideological needs above the public interest, potentially endangering Oregon’s forests.
If this is happening in the Forestry Department, it’s likely occurring elsewhere in Oregon’s state government.
Until individuals like Mike Shaw push back against this trend, woke ideology has not reached its peak.
