Harris supported the Green New Deal and the Inflation Reduction Act, which directed significant funds towards the green industrial sector.
During her tenure as California’s attorney general, she targeted oil companies for scrutiny, bolstering her anti-fossil-fuel credibility.
The adverse effects of the Biden-Harris energy policies became apparent with soaring gas prices that averaged $3.61 a gallon, compared to $2.58 under Trump.
Trump’s policies could have supported a higher oil production of 16 million barrels a day, but under Biden-Harris, it remained at around 13 million barrels due to excessive regulations.
