Americans have lost trust in institutions, sparking a forthcoming revolution.

There are times when unexpected and dramatic events expose the hidden pathologies that have long existed beneath the surface of respectability and convention.

Events such as the destruction of the southern border over the past three years, the Oct. 7 massacre and subsequent Gaza war, campus protests, the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown, and the weaponization of bureaucracies and courts have led to a radical reassessment of American culture and civilization.

Protests & Migrants

Since the 1960s, universities have been hubs of left-wing protests, sometimes turning violent. However, the post-Oct. 7 campus upheavals marked a significant departure.

Masked left-wing protesters displayed virulent antisemitism without shame.

Students on elite campuses especially showed contempt for middle-class police officers trying to prevent their violence, as well as the maintenance workers who had to clean up after them.

Mobs took over buildings, targeted Jewish students, called for the destruction of Israel, and defaced American monuments and landmarks.

The public began to view elite campus students as increasingly ignorant, arrogant, and hateful.

The Biden administration effectively dismantled the southern border, leading to an influx of ten million illegal aliens without proper screening.

Almost daily, news reports showcased violent acts by illegal aliens or their unrealistic demands for free accommodations and support.

Simultaneously, Middle Eastern students on student visas disrupt public order, showing contempt for American laws.

Americans are now reevaluating their stance on immigration, with a potential shift towards a stricter, merit-based, and legally compliant system.

Weaponized ‘Justice’

Americans are also reconsidering their views on established bureaucracies, courts, and government agencies.

The public is still grappling with the reality of the once-revered FBI colluding with social media to suppress news, surveil parents, and conduct raids on political opponents.

After controversial actions by the Department of Justice, public confidence in the American justice system has waned.

The politicization of prosecutors and judges has further eroded public trust in the legal system, bordering on third-world tit-for-tat vendettas.

The Pentagon’s focus on white rage and white supremacy, despite finding no organized presence, has led to recruitment shortfalls and public humiliation.

The armed forces must regain public trust by emphasizing merit, enforcing military justice, and strategic warfare planning.

The New Populism

There is a noticeable shift within both political parties as the Democrats veer towards a wealthy and subsidized class while the Republicans rebrand as a middle-class party.

The results of these political and cultural revolutions will have lasting effects on the US, potentially altering the perception of educational institutions and immigration policies.

It may be that degrees from universities like Georgia Tech or Purdue hold more value than those from prestigious schools like Harvard or Stanford.

Immigration may become more exclusive, legal, and merit-based, abandoning the failed salad bowl concept for a return to the melting pot.

To restore public confidence, institutions like the FBI, CIA, Pentagon, and DOJ must earn, not assume, the trust of the people.

It is possible that Democrats will be associated with Silicon Valley elites, university leaders, and city mayors, while Republicans become the party of a diverse middle-class population.
