America’s soft revolution away from everything that’s made us great
An alarming new poll shows America’s having its own version of a Soviet revolution.
Russian revolutionary murderer Vladimir Lenin proclaimed, “Morality is entirely subordinate to the interests of class war. Everything is moral that is necessary for the annihilation of the old exploiting social order and for uniting the proletariat.”
As Lenin contrived his own morality, he and his ideological compatriots annihilated what they perceived as antiquated, dangerous vestiges of human civilization.
Their blind zealotry emboldened them to commit mass murder through dehumanizing people who claimed traditional values.
Unfortunately, his American intellectual heirs are gaining ground in their desire to similarly dismantle what made America exceptional for centuries: public virtue, hard work, strong families and civic engagement.
Our core values are crumbling like never before, though America’s revolution is happening largely through internal decay rather than violent coup.
Americans today — especially young people — believe patriotism, working hard, building a family and community involvement are far less important than in eras past, a Wall Street Journal and University of Chicago National Opinion Research Center poll just found.
Some 38% of respondents said patriotism is very important to them; that’s a steep drop from the 70% who said so when the Journal first asked the question in 1998.
Tolerance for others was “very important” for 80% of Americans as recently as four years ago; that’s fallen to 58%.
Only 23% of adults under age 30 said that having children is very important.
Bill McInturff, a pollster who administered a previous version of this survey, said that “these differences are so dramatic, it paints a new and surprising portrait of a changing America,” adding, “the lowest economic confidence in decades is having a startling effect on our core values.’’
The Soviets imposed economic central planning rather than embracing the God-given liberty of free economic exchange and private property that unleashed astonishing wealth for everyday people in America and elsewhere.
While America was founded on concepts of God-given rights (rights imperfectly protected, to be sure — we fought a bloody Civil War to liberate those rights for black Americans), Lenin rejected any notion of divinity and supplanted God with materialism: “We repudiate all morality that proceeds from supernatural ideas that are outside class conceptions.”
A similar materialism is creeping into America.
Shockingly, the only value the Journal tested that grew in importance in 25 years is pursuit of money, cited as very important by 43%, up from 31% in 1998.
Militantly atheist, Lenin and the Communist Party demolished organized religion, executing tens of thousands of priests and other religious leaders, confiscating churches and even boiling nuns alive in tar.
Just 39% of Americans said religion is very important, while in 1998, 62% said so.
By ripping America’s focus away from God and into materialistic class warfare, Lenin’s American pals are winning.
America’s anti-religious decline is generally of a softer nature, though in our social unrest, we’ve still seen billions of dollars in property damage and dozens of deaths from militant Black Lives Matter protests led by people like founder Patrisse Cullors, who proudly calls herself “a trained Marxist” who thinks it’s “really cool” people think her book “is like Mao’s Red Book” — though Mao’s Communist regime killed tens of millions of people.
In the Torah’s and Bible’s book of Genesis, the story of twins Esau and younger Jacob illustrates what’s happening, especially to America’s youth. “Esau despised his birthright,” reads a passage about Esau trading his birthright — the patriarchal heritage and blessing from God — for stew Jacob cooked.
America’s schools are teaching kids to despise their birthrights and in the process training them to hate and dehumanize each other through critical race theory.

Critical race theory stems from the 1930s-era, Marxist-inspired Frankfurt School. Its founders, who created critical theory, sought to dismantle capitalism and Western civilization, just as America’s CRT does today.
America’s birthright is gifted through generations of warriors who defeated the evils of Nazism, Soviet Communism and the terror of the British monarchy.
America fought a revolution against monarchy, like Lenin, but instead created a system rooted in faith in God, family, private property and free enterprise.
America needs a robust history lesson and spiritual revival to learn to cherish this birthright for generations to come.
