As Joe & Co. Depart, They’re Making Every Effort to Undermine the Nation They Promised to Protect
President Biden and his team are going all out, taking aggressive actions to inflict as much harm as possible on the nation in their remaining time.
Take a look at the extensive list of controversial decisions that Joe (or whoever is really in charge) has pushed through as time runs out on his presidency.
There have been more restrictions on oil and gas drilling, despite the fact that his anti-domestic energy policies have severely weakened America and driven up prices for everyday consumers.
In fact, he even attempted to restrict natural gas exports.
This comes as the administration has committed to another impractical Paris Accord climate target aiming for a nearly 70% reduction in US emissions by 2035.
If these measures take hold — and the White House is adamant that the drilling ban will be hard to reverse — we can anticipate more hardships for ordinary Americans.
The administration also relaxed visa requirements for foreign workers while signing a labor deal with a federal union allowing over 40,000 Social Security Administration employees to continue working in hybrid roles.
Additionally, there’s been a surge in clemency actions, starting with the blanket pardon for his troubled son Hunter—a promise Joe had previously vowed not to keep—followed by hundreds of commutations for corrupt individuals, con artists, and even those guilty of heinous crimes.
Let’s also not overlook the $4.28 billion in student debt relief Biden approved right before Christmas (a handout for the wealthy, funded by the less fortunate: a classic move in progressivism!).
Or consider the recent push by the White House to disperse billions from the CHIPS Act and other projects while there’s still time.
There’s also the veto of a bipartisan bill designed to expand the federal judiciary to alleviate overloaded courts, which the administration rejected out of concern that they wouldn’t be able to select new judges.
The scope and vigor of these actions clearly indicate that Joe himself (who often appears drowsy throughout the workday) is not the primary architect of these initiatives: it’s the staffers at the wheel.
This same team has been making the pivotal decisions during four tumultuous years, leading to a historic and embarrassing defeat for the Democrats.
Yet, this defeat hasn’t prompted them to shift gears.
They experienced significant losses and now they seem to be taking it out on you.
So, Joe can profess his admiration for America all he wants.
In these concluding days of his unsuccessful administration, he (and/or his aides) are only serving up more failures, revealing themselves as not only petty and corrupt but also harboring disdain for the country they were meant to serve.
