Biden criticizes Trump supporters and shares common beliefs among Democrats
Joe Biden recently expressed what many Democratic leaders believe: If you support Donald Trump, you’re labeled as “garbage.”
This statement was made during a campaign call while Vice President Kamala Harris was preparing to give a significant speech in DC.
Joe remarked, “The only garbage I see floating out there is [Trump’s] supporters,” in response to insulting comments made about Puerto Rico at a rally.
This situation mirrors Hillary’s “basket of deplorables” comment and could potentially be a significant misstep in Biden’s career.
Following Joe’s controversial statement, the media went into damage control mode.
Politico fabricated Biden’s words, altering them to suggest criticism of the “hatred” of some of Trump’s supporters.
Many individuals speculated that Biden’s comments were due to a stutter and even added an apostrophe to “supporters” to defend the president.
The White House released a transcript of the call with a nonsensical interpretation added to diminish the impact of Biden’s statement.
Despite the attempts to downplay the situation, it was clear what Joe meant and everyone understood his words.
Some individuals tried to justify Biden’s comments by pointing out Trump’s own controversial statements, but calling half the country “garbage” is unprecedented.
While Trump has made questionable remarks, Democratic elites’ disdain for voters is not a new revelation.
Hillary called voters “deplorables” in 2016, and Democratic messaging has increasingly shifted towards scolding and shaming those who question their authority.
If someone criticizes the open-border policy, they are labeled as “racist.” Concerns about gender transitions for kids are dismissed as “bigotry.” Objects to terrorists in college classrooms are labeled as “colonizers.”
This reflects the core beliefs of Democrats, partly due to elitism and partly because they lack substantial policy proposals beyond crime, inflation, and global chaos.
As the race for president tightens and Trump gains momentum in the polls, Democrats continue to insult rather than persuade voters.
Insults seem to be their primary strategy, and if Trump wins, it may be a significant factor contributing to his victory.
