Biden, Fauci and Butker deliver contrasting speeches, with the most impactful message facing backlash
The graduating class of 2024 has experienced a variety of commencement speeches recently.
Among them, only one was not self-serving, dishonest, and destructive.
You can easily guess which speech caused uproar among the left.
During his Nationwide Pandering Tour to regain diminishing black support, Joe Biden visited the prestigious, black, all-male Morehouse College in Atlanta on Sunday and addressed the students, suggesting that they are victims of racism and white supremacy.
He insinuated that American democracy had let them down by questioning, “What is democracy if black men are being killed in the street . . . when a trail of broken promises still leaves black communities behind . . . if you have to be 10 times better than anyone else to get a fair shot?”
He painted a picture of a black man who “loves his country even if it doesn’t love him back equally.” He also referred to efforts by parents to remove explicit pornography from school libraries as a book “ban” to “erase history” and implied it was racist, saying, “They don’t see you in the future of America.”
This speech was described as rancid and depressing, offering no wisdom or nourishment to the audience.
‘Distortion’
On Wednesday, health bureaucrat Dr. Anthony Fauci spoke at Columbia University, accusing a subset of the media of mischaracterizing, distorting, and vilifying scientific findings and scientists themselves.
This is the same person who misled the public about masks stopping COVID-19 and the efficacy of COVID shots.
He denied the virus’s origins in the Wuhan lab, lied to Congress about NIH funding, and covered up funding of risky research that may have caused the pandemic.
Fauci’s former colleague contradicted him before the House Oversight Committee, confirming NIH funding of gain-of-function research in Wuhan.
Fauci’s integrity was further questioned following revelations about evading FOIA requests, leading to concerns about falsehoods and lies becoming normalized.
These actions align with narcissistic personality disorder traits, projecting blame onto others.
However, a positive note was struck by Harrison Butker, who delivered a commencement address at a Catholic college, emphasizing truth, beauty, and motherhood.
His message, although criticized as sexist, celebrated traditional values and roles of women in society.
Butker acknowledged his fellow speakers, Biden and Fauci, as contrasting examples of dysfunctional Catholicism.
He encouraged men to embrace masculinity and combat societal emasculation, urging them to strive for excellence and resist the norm.
His message resonated with Gen Z, who seek truth in a world filled with chaos and darkness.
Indeed, the world could benefit from more voices like Butker’s, promoting moral clarity and traditional values.
