When mayors and governors issue orders to not cooperate with federal law enforcement, they are obstructing the law of the land, which is federal supremacy. Those who obstruct federal law enforcement should face consequences just like any other citizen, as this is a legal issue, not just a moral one.
The United States belongs to its legal citizens, and leftist politicians should not be giving away what does not belong to them, as seen in the actions of President Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who have caused irreparable damage to the country.
It is crucial to address the issue of illegal immigration promptly and effectively to prevent further harm. It is unacceptable for politicians to prioritize the interests of illegal immigrants over those of legal citizens, leading to growing frustration among the American people.
There is a need for a coherent approach to immigration policies to ensure the safety and well-being of the nation and its citizens without compromising the rule of law in favor of those who enter the country illegally.
Federalism offers a potential solution to deal with sanctuary city and state leaders defying federal law, and cutting off federal aid to these entities could prompt them to reconsider their stance. When taxpayers feel the financial burden of supporting illegal immigrants, there may be a shift in priorities among political leaders.
Recent announcements of state budgets allocating billions of dollars for migrants raise questions about the motives of politicians and officials who continue to fund and support individuals who have entered the country illegally. It is important to consider the impact of these policies on taxpayers and the country as a whole.
