The 15-20 incidents of cognitive decline that Bernstein references from just the past year should have been apparent before he chose to come forward now when it holds little relevance. Bernstein, at some point, abandoned the keen sense that built his legacy, now forever tarnished.

When Trump was in power, Democrats and their allies insisted he undergo a mental evaluation and even discussed using the 25th Amendment to remove him from office due to his alleged incompetence.

Perhaps those same Democrats should now consider utilizing that constitutional provision to remove Biden from office.

The shortcomings of President Biden were never in doubt. His performance in the debate was not the sole indicator.

Previously, aides had to extensively prepare him for the debate despite his long public service experience. His wife, Jill, and Italy’s Giorgia Meloni had to guide him, highlighting his inability to independently manage his daily affairs.

The critical question remains: “Who is truly in control?” Because the Biden we’ve seen in recent years is not the one calling the shots.
