Close the brothel near the kids’ museum run by Queen, and all other brothels backed by Biden
New York’s traffickers and pimps have become increasingly brazen, operating a brothel right across from a children’s museum—and even going as far as promoting it on TikTok.
Local residents in Corona are outraged and have been pleading with the city to shut down the brothel that is operating openly across from the Queens Hall of Science.
It is evident that action needs to be taken immediately by the NYPD to put an end to this unacceptable situation.
The fact that the city has allowed brothels to proliferate for so long along Roosevelt Avenue in Queens is appalling.
The Queens Hall of Science is a place for families, where children come to learn about planets, dinosaurs, and basic science.
Furthermore, it is located near two elementary schools.
Allowing pimps, prostitutes, and clients to engage in illegal activities, including public urination and threats against locals, in close proximity to children is completely unacceptable.
In the words of community leader Hiram Monserrate, “Everyone has let us down. Every single elected official — the NYPD, the state, the governor, everyone has let us down.”
Once again, the NYPD is left to address a problem created by others: the rise of such brothels, involving sex trafficking, is a result of the Biden administration’s border policies, New York’s sanctuary city laws, and the leniency towards illegal immigrants by progressive authorities.
However, the NYPD and State Police, called in by Governor Kathy Hochul to assist on Roosevelt Avenue, must expand their efforts beyond just the central red-light district known as the “Market of Sweethearts.”
Even though law enforcement may currently be facing challenges, it is crucial for them to continue their work until federal enforcement can be strengthened under the next administration.
There is hope that the upcoming administration will take steps to address the issue by implementing stricter border controls and deporting the millions of illegal immigrants residing in the country.
It is troubling that Queens residents, including victims of sex trafficking, cannot expect lasting relief until the incoming administration takes action.
