Democrats Losing Voters to Republicans as Election Day Approaches

Republicans are entering the presidential campaign with momentum, not due to Joe Biden’s mental state or Donald Trump’s response to an assassination attempt.

Voters are changing their allegiance due to displeasure with the Democratic Party’s policies supporting inflation, crime, open borders, and identity-focused agendas.

For the first time in seven years, more voters now identify as Republicans or lean towards the Republican party compared to Democrats. According to data from Pew Research, the GOP holds a 47% to 46% advantage over Democrats.

The Democratic Party’s narrative is losing ground to the Republican Party, causing distress in left-wing media outlets.

New York Times columnist Frank Bruni criticized GOP convention attendees as “a gathering of villagers with torches,” akin to Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” comment.

Bruni claimed that Republicans are prevailing due to Democratic disarray over Biden, but the shift towards the GOP has been ongoing for four years.

Gen Z voters and Latino voters are moving away from the Democratic Party, with approval ratings for Biden declining among these groups.

Despite the GOP’s stringent stance on illegal immigration, more Latino voters are favoring Trump compared to the previous election.

The GOP platform focuses on stopping illegal migration, attracting skilled legal immigrants, and ensuring self-sufficiency, in addition to economic policies like ending tip taxes.

Democrats are critical of the GOP platform, labeling it as “darkly messianic,” while the platform remains optimistic and committed to American unity.

There is a realization among Democratic voters that identity politics is not effective, and they seek real improvements in policies.
