Democrats should take note from the 2024 election: Avoid strangeness.

Many individuals seem to have extreme views.

A campaign ad for Donald Trump, with the slogan “Kamala is for they/them. President Trump is for you,” proved to be effective in the 2024 presidential campaign.

The ad, featuring Kamala Harris endorsing state-funded sex-change operations for prisoners, reportedly shifted the race in Mr. Trump’s favor by 2.7 percentage points.

Some people may be turned off by the grammatical confusion and scientific uncertainty surrounding “they/them.”

For others, “they/them” signifies the thousands of children who have undergone harmful “gender-affirming care.”

Additionally, “they/them” can symbolize girls and women who are forced to compete with males in sports.

Ultimately, “they/them” represents the cultural fads the Left is trying to normalize, which many reject as social science quackery.

While Americans are open to alternative lifestyles, these extreme practices often appear bizarre.

The rapid normalization of these ideas by the Left is astonishing.

Recently, President-elect Donald Trump proposed a bill recognizing only male and female genders assigned at birth.

Twenty years ago, this would have been incomprehensible to most people.

Today, individuals may face criticism when stating the biological differences between men and women.

Following Trump’s selection of Sen. J.D. Vance as his running mate, Democrats portrayed him as peculiar.

What’s stranger: making a joke about “cat ladies,” or advocating for tampons in boys’ bathrooms at schools?

The latter was championed by Gov. Tim Walz, who supported laws allowing courts to remove custody from parents who rejected “gender-affirming healthcare.”

While there are numerous factors contributing to the Democrats’ loss in 2024, mishandling the economy and controversial spending bills played a significant role.

Cultural forces are shifting various demographic and ethnic groups away from Democrats.

One reason is the radical rhetoric and ideologies espoused by some individuals.

The terminology used by some, such as “Latinx,” “birthing person,” and “pregnant people,” appears unfamiliar and nonsensical to many.

Furthermore, certain actions and beliefs are viewed as extreme and out of touch with mainstream society.

Leaders and activists in influential positions often hail from urban areas with diverse views on sex, life, and culture, or elite institutions where pseudoscience and cultural Marxism are prevalent.

What was once the subject of jokes is now shaping White House policy decisions.

Upon taking office, Joe Biden mandated educational institutions receiving federal funding to allow biological male athletes in women’s sports.

Remember when the White House was adorned with rainbow flags and promoted books on sexual topics and gender dysphoria to elementary school libraries?

Exposing children to sexual content at a young age is concerning and abnormal.
