Instead, the event turned into a flattering tribute to Biden with subtle jabs at Donald Trump.

Colin Jost, the “SNL” comedian known for being Scarlett Johansson’s husband, delivered praise to Biden for his “decency,” garnering a standing ovation from the audience.

Laughable speech

Prior to Jost’s speech, Biden gave a stump speech where he made false claims about Trump and urged journalists to combat disinformation.

Biden’s dishonesty was highlighted in his speech as he misrepresented Trump’s statements and called for truth over lies.
