Doug Burgum is the ideal VP pick to solidify Trump’s historic legacy

Following an intense competition, the conclusion of “The Apprentice: VP” is imminent, and Donald Trump is set to reveal his selection.

Out of the speculated finalists, we advocate for Doug Burgum as the ideal candidate to assist Trump in solidifying a historic legacy over the next four years.

Individuals like Burgum, Marco Rubio, or J.D. Vance may not directly contribute to Trump’s win in November, unlike potential candidates like Nikki Haley or Glenn Youngkin.

However, the aforementioned candidates are not among the final choices.

The ex-president is on a path to secure a victory on his own: the swing of the battleground states is in his favor.

As a result, his primary consideration in selecting a VP is identifying the individual who can aid him in addressing the substantial challenges that come with being the next president.

While some of Trump’s top team members from his first term fell short, the likelihood of a similar outcome with Burgum is minimal.

Though the president will establish the policies and priorities as he assumes leadership over America and the world, Burgum, an exceptional manager and businessman, possesses the capability to tackle the arduous tasks necessary to revitalize the nation.

Any administration must implement prosperity-driven tax and business policies to uplift all sectors of society and every state, as was accomplished during Trump’s initial term.

Additionally, a robust energy policy is indispensable to meet the demands of the imminent AI revolution, a competition in which America cannot afford to lag behind countries like China that scoff at the notion of achieving “net zero” carbon emissions within unrealistic timeframes.

Burgum’s extensive business acumen eclipses that of the other finalists, and his state is a major energy supplier.

Having founded a company while in college at North Dakota State, followed by a tenure as a McKinsey consultant, Burgum’s successful career in business, culminating in the sale of Great Plains Software to Microsoft for $1.1 billion, underscores his qualifications for the role.

His prior achievements in business, preceding his entry into politics by winning the governorship of North Dakota, distinguish him from Vance and Rubio, who have limited experience outside of their respective fields.

The sole critique against Burgum pertains to his endorsement of a law in 2023 that severely restricted abortion, a law that aligned with the sentiments of North Dakota’s populace, reflecting consistency with Trump and the updated RNC policy platform.

Moreover, Burgum advocated against a national abortion law during the initial days of his presidential campaign, emphasizing state sovereignty on the matter ahead of Trump’s alignment with that stance.

North Dakota’s law, at a time when the state had no abortion clinics, mirrored the prevailing sentiment and aligns with Trump and the revised RNC stance.

While Rubio and Vance also advocate for pro-life measures, Congress’ discord on the issue renders it relatively inconsequential presently, except when utilized in Democratic attack ads.

Donald Trump’s upcoming term will concentrate on addressing pressing national concerns, rectifying the ramifications of Biden’s foreign policy weaknesses, securing the border, reestablishing America as the leading energy producer worldwide, and rejuvenating the economy to facilitate job growth and wage increases for all.

Doug Burgum is unequivocally the most suitable VP candidate to ensure that the second term is recorded in history as one of the most successful.

This accomplishment will pave the way for Rubio, Vance, and other prospective GOP leaders in the subsequent generation to take the reins post-2028, vying to lead a resurgent America propelled by the triumphs of Trump and Burgum.
