Endless opportunities for law-breakers to commit violence in NYC

We have heard about second, third, and even fourth chances, but 11?

On the last Friday, a Bronx Judge Craig Ortner reprimanded Tammie Moore, a woman accused of attacking an elderly woman without cause, stating her alleged offense was “egregious” and cautioning her that she had run out of chances.

However, he released Moore on “supervised release” regardless of the prosecutors’ request for a $30,000 cash bail or $90,000 bond.

“Out of chances” seems to mean: We might begin taking your offenses seriously VERY soon.

Or maybe not.

Moore had 10 prior arrests before this assault, yet was still free; she probably isn’t too concerned about facing any consequences.

She, like every lawbreaker in New York City, knows that criminals are handled with care while victims are just collateral damage of the left’s push for “justice reform.”

Moore’s alleged partner in the attack, William Ballinger, also was released without bail by another judge, Eugene Bowen, despite his eight prior arrests, including one for drunk driving.

Both 32 years old, the couple allegedly struck the 82-year-old victim multiple times before throwing her to the ground and stomping on her, leading to her hospitalization.

If such heartless violence doesn’t warrant imprisonment, then what does?

Letting two accused assailants of an elderly woman back onto the streets is disgraceful, but it seems to be “justice” in the view of far too many liberal judges in New York.

These judges are a result of the same political systems that elect the lawmakers drafting our lenient laws.

Until the voters start holding the politicians accountable, New York’s justice system won’t start making violent offenders answerable for their actions.

Solving New York City’s crime issue needs to begin at the polling place because it’s clearly not being resolved within the courts.
