Explosive Letters: The Targeted Cybertruck Incident

The Incident: Matthew Livelsberger setting off an explosion with a Tesla Cybertruck outside Trump Hotel Las Vegas.

The assault in one of America’s renowned cities is a direct consequence of President Biden’s administration (“New Year’s evil,” Jan. 2).

The entire world — including terrorists — acknowledges that America is under the leadership of the most ineffective president in our nation’s history, exploiting Biden’s disastrous tenure ahead of President-elect Donald Trump’s upcoming presidency.

It’s astounding to consider that so many individuals were in favor of perpetuating this unbridled catastrophe for another four years.

The phrase “honest politician” is often labeled as an oxymoron.

However, an even more absurd oxymoron comes from the uncle of the driver who operated the Tesla Cybertruck that detonated outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas.

“He admired Trump, and he was a very, very patriotic soldier, a patriotic American,” his uncle stated.

Excuse me, but it seems illogical that someone demonstrating affection would resort to blowing up a vehicle outside of another’s property.

Perhaps the bomber was discontented with promises that Trump seems poised to break even before returning to the White House, such as ending the Ukraine conflict and lowering grocery prices, pledges made during his campaign that now appear less feasible.

On New Year’s Day, a truck incident resulted in 15 fatalities in New Orleans, the Cybertruck explosion claimed one life in Las Vegas, and a mass shooting in Queens injured 10 others.

I am certain that liberals will vocally address the shooting but overlook the broader issue of violence, which is the actual concern — not firearms.

Violence has plagued humanity since the dawn of time, long before guns existed. Firearms are merely one method of causing harm, not the fundamental issue — violence is.

It seems electric vehicles may emerge as the new weapon of choice for terrorists. How trendy!

They can carry sufficient fuel to create explosions while remaining eco-friendly on the way there — how green!

Can you envision what Tim McVeigh could have accomplished with one of these vehicles?

The Matter: CBS reporter Jan Crawford’s assertion that Biden’s cognitive decline was inadequately reported.

A CBS reporter claiming the media should have been more aggressive in questioning President Biden’s cognitive decline, and its potential impact on the election, is simply ridiculous (“CBS vet: Biden’s decline a news fail,” Dec. 31).

The network was complicit in obscuring this issue for four years. Now, are we expected to take them seriously as they pretend to conduct substantial reporting?

The legacy media is in a state of decay. There is nothing they can do now to alter that perception. In reality, both political parties have misled us for years.

Indeed, the nation may appear to be in better hands following President-elect Trump’s victory, but I won’t be impressed until we see accountability.

Her employment of gaslighting minimizes the conspiratorial nature of these media deceptions and the potential for future exploitation.

Jan Crawford notably failed to mention values such as honesty, integrity, and ethics. Instead, she lamented the lack of opportunity for one political party to manipulate the election results — presumably to their advantage.
