Final Proof Democrats Are Afraid to Address Real Issues: Kathy Hochul’s Anti-American Gaslighting

Shortly after her minions carried out the five-hour raid that resulted in the death of P’nut the squirrel and Fred the raccoon, Gov. Hochul appeared on MSNBC to denounce all those “voting for these Republicans in New York” as “anti-American.”

It’s no surprise that she is one of Joe “Garbage” Biden’s favorite governors.

Still recovering from Nancy Pelosi’s brutal smackdown for helping Republicans win multiple New York House seats in 2022, Hochul has thrown herself into trying to win some back.

But mostly by not physically showing up: Even progressive Mondaire Jones doesn’t want the “moderate” governor campaigning for him.

This is because Hochul has made herself unpopular across most of the state with her proposals for congestion-pricing tolls on commuters after the election, her failure to address the state’s problematic “criminal-justice reforms,” her reluctance to combat antisemitism, and her inaction on the migrant crisis.

To be clear, Hochul has behind-the-scenes helped her fellow Democrats with some gerrymandering (and stacking the state’s top court to enable that) and a lot of fundraising.

She even put a halt to congestion pricing, reportedly after being warned by House Democratic leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries that it would hurt Democratic candidates.

She has even manipulated crime statistics to make it appear as if Democratic mismanagement isn’t ruining the state.

Yet, she still felt compelled to go on TV to echo the party line – even though it’s precisely what cost her and NY Democrats so dearly just two years ago.

Remember: Hochul focused most of her 2022 campaign on abortion, ignoring voters’ rising concerns about crime until the last minute.

Yet, her diatribe on MSNBC reiterated that a vote for any Republican is not only “anti-American,” but also “anti-woman” and “anti-abortion.”

This mirrors the campaign of nearly every swing-district New York Democrat, as well as the Harris-Walz ticket – and it’s complete nonsense: There is no clandestine Republican scheme to pass a national abortion ban, and in any case, they can’t even gather the votes to enact it, just as Democrats can’t secure enough votes to pass a national pro-choice law, even if Harris triumphs by a wide margin.

But Democrats from Harris down to the likes of teacher-union pawn John Mannion, career open-borders advocate Josh Riley, and Hempstead hack Laura Gillen dare not tackle voters’ greatest concerns because their party caused all of them: inflation, the migrant crisis, rising crime, exorbitant gas prices – you name it.

Democrats are the party of banning gas stoves and non-electric cars, of welcoming border-crossers without any screening to stop gangs like Tren de Aragua, of higher taxes and even higher spending, of censoring dissent, and of enforcing radical transgender and DEI ideologies – especially in our schools, where they oppose any inkling of choice for families.

They’re the party of falsehoods, like the protracted campaign to assert that Joe Biden was fit to run for re-election.

Will figures like Harris or Hochul ever apologize for that manipulation?

No: They are only offering more of it.

If you vote Republican, Hochul boasted on MSNBC, “you just trashed American values and what our country is all about – repeatedly.”

Look in the mirror, governor: “Trashing American values” is now the Democratic agenda.
