Harris-Biden’s recent actions on immigration are an effort to conceal the issues at the border
Vice President Kamala Harris and President Biden are rushing to cover up the mess they made of the border in a brazen bid to fool voters ahead of Election Day.
Border Patrol agents are raising the alarm that Harris-Biden have ramped up busing and flying migrants from San Diego, now the hotspot for illegal crossings, to less-full border towns in Arizona and Texas — states that have taken it upon themselves do what Harris-Biden wouldn’t.
An insane June order forced San Diego border agents to release migrants from over 100 countries into the United States; now the city’s overrun, with facilities at 112% capacity.
Harris-Biden’s solution: Spread the problem around and hope no one notices.
And if towns like Yuma, Ariz., and McAllen, Texas, don’t want to absorb the consequences?
Tough: Democrats have an election to win.
The administration has ramped up deportations, too — a desperate too-little, too-late ploy they can readily reverse on Nov. 6.
And of course they’ve created new “legal” pathways that let them officially report hundreds of thousands of fewer illegal entries, while still waving the “asylum seekers” in.
It’s not just that Harris-Biden have had nearly four years to secure the border; it’s that they opened it on Day 1, intentionally letting illegal migrants (criminals and gangbangers among them) flood into towns and cities across the country.
This half-baked clean-up job is pure cynicism — a last-minute scheme to sweep the crisis under the rug.
Once the country votes, all hell is set to break loose.
As Todd Bensman reports for The Post, Harris-Biden cut a deal with Mexico last December to stall the crossing of hundreds of thousands more migrants.
The would-be “asylum seekers” got rounded up near the border and shipped south to cities like Tapachula, where they’re being held — but the whole region is now packed to the brim, with no reason to think Mexico will keep holding back the flood after Nov. 5.
Bottom line: Harris and Biden know their border policies are in direct opposition to American interests and desires, and are even willing to muscle Mexico into at least pausing the tide.
But they’re only doing anything real now, and only as a pre-election holding action.
If Harris holds the Oval Office come January, don’t expect more of the same at the border — expect much worse.
