Harris: From Figurehead to Ruler of the Swamp

There is a lot of chatter surrounding the 2024 presidential election, but do we truly need a president? The current situation suggests otherwise.

Independent journalist Glenn Greenwald recently took to Twitter to highlight the fact that the US seems to be without a functional president for quite some time now. This observation was met with agreement from others, raising questions about who is truly in charge.

Despite Joe Biden’s presence in the Oval Office, it’s clear that he is not actively managing the affairs of the country. Speculations have pointed to various individuals, including Biden’s wife Dr. Jill Biden, White House staffers, and former Obama administration members, as the ones pulling the strings behind the scenes.

The lack of a decisive leader at the helm raises concerns about the functioning of the government and the legitimacy of its actions. The absence of a president capable of fulfilling the duties of the office brings into question the democratic process and the accountability of those in power.

As the nation approaches the next election, the choice between a strong, decisive executive and a figurehead controlled by special interests becomes more apparent. The current state of affairs suggests a disconnect between the government and the will of the people, potentially leading to instability and unrest.

Ultimately, the future of the country hinges on whether the people demand a true leader or are content with the current president-less system. The decision will shape not only the government but also the direction of the nation as a whole.
