Hochul’s sudden change in stance on congestion pricing raises concerns about her true intentions with New Yorkers’ money

Following the conclusion of Election Day, we are witnessing Governor Hochul’s political cynicism on full display.

In June, Governor Hochul surprised many by “indefinitely pausing” her congestion-pricing plan, citing economic concerns from the business community and commuters. However, it was clear that her real motive was to avoid hurting Democrats in the election.

Now, she plans to bring back the controversial plan without any shame. Once again, New York voters are being misled.

New Yorkers must stand up against this elitist plan, which will negatively impact commuters and small businesses, while also shifting traffic and pollution to working-class and minority communities.

Efforts have been made through bipartisan legislation, federal lawsuits, and public outrage to reverse this decision.

If the governor refuses to listen to the two-thirds of NYC residents who oppose congestion pricing, we will seek support from President Trump to stop this scam.

It is essential to act now to prevent the consequences that will affect us all.
