Hunter Biden is facing scrutiny from truth and justice due to his repeated dishonesty

Hunter Biden received troubling news on Wednesday.

First, the prosecution in his upcoming gun-felony trial in Delaware filed a new document that disputed Hunter’s legal team’s ongoing denial of the authenticity of his laptop and its contents. Hunter has consistently claimed that his laptop might have been stolen by “Russians” or “hacked” by Rudy Giuliani, but special counsel David Weiss, along with deputies Derek Hines and Leo Wise, discredited these claims in a harshly worded memo among the 13 filed with the court on Wednesday.

The filing signed by Weiss stated, “The defendant’s theory about the laptop is a conspiracy theory with no supporting evidence.” The prosecution firmly established that Hunter’s “laptop is real (it will be introduced as a trial exhibit) and it contains significant evidence of the defendant’s guilt.”

‘Self-authenticating’

The prosecutors also declared that the laptop is “self-authenticating” and is supported by Hunter’s iCloud data from Apple.

“What are the messages the defendant is claiming were somehow retroactively planted into his nonfunctional laptop, and what is the evidence of that? There is none. He has not shown any of the actual evidence in this case is unreliable or inauthentic, because there is none.”

Ouch.

Following this, IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joe Ziegler presented 100 pages of new evidence revealing that Hunter lied repeatedly during his sworn congressional testimony in February. This prompted House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith to suggest the possibility of perjury charges against Hunter.

Shapley provided a document that raises further suspicion about Hunter’s associate, Hollywood lawyer Kevin Morris, potentially being under CIA protection.

The latest evidence suggests that Hunter used his father’s name to pressure a Chinese businessman and received $5.1 million from him. However, during his deposition, Hunter lied about the incident, claiming he was “high or drunk” when he sent the WhatsApp message.

Phone records obtained by the IRS whistleblowers proved otherwise, showing that Hunter indeed sent the message to the correct individual affiliated with CEFC.

In his handwriting

“The truth is in his own handwriting, and it is in front of our committee today,” said Smith.

Hunter also denied assisting anyone in obtaining US visas, but an email from his business partner contradicted his statement. This new set of whistleblower documents seriously undermines Hunter’s credibility just before his court appearance on charges related to lying about his drug use on a gun purchase background check form.

The disclosure of CIA’s involvement in the investigation into Hunter raises questions about potential support from the agency in other aspects of the Biden family’s legal matters.

CIA’s shadowy hand

Despite having a high-level security clearance, the IRS whistleblowers were denied a classified briefing to understand why Kevin Morris was declared off-limits for the investigation. The CIA’s influence in the Hunter Biden saga is evident, including in the rapid approval of a letter signed by former intelligence operatives that falsely claimed Hunter’s laptop was a Russian disinformation campaign.

More revelations are expected from the House Judiciary Committee as they interview CIA employees.

Although Hunter received some positive news as his tax trial in California was rescheduled, the pressure on him to settle these legal challenges before trial remains high.
