While some families blame Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for failing to secure a cease-fire, it is clear that Hamas has consistently acted in bad faith during negotiations.

The real mistake was not standing with Israel in the fight against Hamas, rather than criticizing them.

The Biden-Harris administration missed an opportunity to pressure Iran to intervene and force Hamas to release the hostages or face severe consequences.

Israel should have been supported in its efforts to rescue its people, as demonstrated by the successful mission in June that saved hostages from Nuseirat.

It is evident that Hamas manipulated the situation by hiding hostages among civilians in Rafah, knowing that international pressure could prevent Israel from taking action.

By appeasing the anti-Israel wing of the Democratic Party, Harris and Biden inadvertently played into Hamas’ hands, prioritizing political considerations over moral obligations.

It remains unclear how many hostages are still alive in Gaza, as Hamas refuses to disclose this information.

The way forward is clear: Iran and Hamas must release any remaining hostages, or face the consequences from the United States.
