International Criminal Court poses a threat to Israel and those who oppose it
Previously, I discussed how the International Criminal Court was targeting an American ally, and recently they announced the prosecution of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, without any investigation or evidence. This overreach by the court is concerning, especially as the United States and Israel are not signatories to the body.
The court has faced criticism for its corruption and political bias, with some Democrats in favor of the U.S. joining. However, twelve U.S. Senators responded strongly to the arrest warrant for Netanyahu, stating that America will not tolerate attacks on its allies. The ICC’s response to the Senators implied that they could be considered criminals, further highlighting the court’s problematic nature.
Amidst this controversy, there is a new term, “Christian nationalists,” being used to denigrate certain American voters. This term has been embraced by some Democrats and media figures to label Trump, his allies, and supporters. However, the use of this term has sparked debate as nationalism itself is not inherently negative, and being Christian is not an insult. It remains to be seen how effective this tactic will be in targeting Trump and his supporters, especially considering the significant number of Christian voters in America.
