Iran Strikes Israel with Drones and Missiles in Retaliation: Report

The Situation: Iran’s assault on Israel with a carefully orchestrated series of drone and missile attacks.

Kudos to Biden and the Democrats for providing Iran with billions in cash, enabling the mullahs to carry out assaults on Israel (“It’s Biden’s Mideast mess,” Editorial, April 13).

The misguided foreign policies of former President Barack Obama and Biden have empowered our adversaries to target our allies without facing any consequences.

The attack on Israel by Iran illustrates how Biden’s perilous policies, such as allowing Iran to amass wealth and weaponry through oil sales – a strategy entirely halted by former President Donald Trump – will have global repercussions.

Biden’s economy is already in dire straits, and his poor judgement and feeble international actions indicate that he lacks the strength to lead the world as Trump did. Simply put, Biden does not command the respect of the international community, which should be a cause for concern for all of us.

Under Biden’s leadership, our world has become significantly more perilous than it was under Trump, who maintained complete control and was feared by leaders like Putin.

In simple terms: we cannot reach November soon enough.

The recent attack by Iran on Israel was not unprovoked (“Iran must pay a price,” Editorial, April 15).

Israel’s surprise assault on the Iranian diplomatic mission in Syria set the stage for Iran’s retaliatory strike. Israel escalated the situation by indiscriminately targeting members of Iran’s military leadership and diplomats.

This may have been precisely what Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wanted – a heightening of tensions under his watch that would force the United States to intervene and eliminate his adversaries through airstrikes and potentially an invasion. However, I, along with many other Americans, refuse to sacrifice ourselves for Israel.

The demand by The Post’s editorial board for President Biden to comply with all of Israel’s wishes reveals that many on the mainstream right prioritize Israel over America. They are willing to endanger American lives for the benefit of Israel.

Trump had placed severe economic sanctions on Iran.

Biden removed these restrictions. As a result, we now witness hundreds of casualties in Israel, 33,000 Palestinian fatalities, and Iranian drones attacking Israel.

Based on past events, the US, Britain, and their allies will likely impose further sanctions on Iran for its retaliatory drone strike against Israel.

There has been a consistent tendency by America and Britain to sanction Iran and its officials since the 1979 Iranian Revolution. Yet, this revolution stemmed from major Western countries exploiting Iran’s abundant fossil-fuel resources for their own gain.
