Iran’s Preparation for an Attack on Israel is in Line with Biden’s Strategy
There are many uncertainties surrounding Iran’s promised retaliation against Israel for its attack on Quds Force fighters in Syria, including top leaders.
One thing is clear, though: President Biden’s foreign policy is intentionally designed this way.
This has led to America’s most determined regional foe posing a threat to our most crucial regional ally, while US analysts contemplate the extent and impact of the strike, and the White House appears indecisive.
Iran doesn’t necessarily need to make a large move. Thanks to Biden, Iran is already gaining an advantage in the battle for regional dominance through proxy actions.
As Israel engages in conflict with an Iranian proxy in Gaza and faces rocket attacks from Hezbollah in Lebanon, tensions are escalating towards potential war.
Meanwhile, influenced by short-term political objectives and a group of leftist advisors, Biden has forsaken Israel.
Even before Iran’s strike on Israel through Hamas, Biden had been empowering Tehran.
He provided Iran with billions in ransom and sanctions relief, distanced relations with Saudi Arabia, and attempted to revive Obama’s controversial nuclear deal.
Now, the prospect of direct conflict between Israel and Iran looms large.
It is possible that Biden is hoping for a more conservative approach from Iran in this situation.
However, if Iran decides to make a significant strike against a vulnerable target, the US must act.
Biden cannot continue to base his Middle East strategy on wishful thinking and illusions about Iran.
An attack by the ayatollahs cannot be ignored.
Regardless of the outcome, Biden will be held responsible for this crisis, and without political change in November, the underlying policies leading to this situation will continue to endanger global security.
