It’s Easy to Ridicule the Struggling and Directionless Democrats

While it may not be the most sporting behavior to taunt your opponents when you’re on a winning streak, the temptation can be hard to resist.

After holding back from cheap shots at Democrats since Donald Trump’s presidency began, I found myself unable to stay silent in light of two recent stories that vividly showcase the party’s ethical decline and unwillingness to change course.

Story 1: Wisconsin’s Democratic Governor Tony Evers endorsed legislation that reclassifies mothers as “inseminated persons.”

The proposed budget, introduced on Friday, also substitutes “father” with “parent” over 120 instances, as noted by Republican State Rep. Amanda Nedweski in a Facebook statement.

“As a proud mother of two, I find it incredibly insulting that the Governor, through his 2025-27 budget bill, would reduce me and countless other mothers in Wisconsin to ‘inseminated persons.’ ”

However, don’t anticipate any complaints from the Democrats. The pursuit of “gender-neutral” language that erases the identities of mothers and fathers is akin to their Holy Grail. Terminology like “pregnant individuals” and “inseminated persons” is just the inevitable outcome, disregarding the fact that a majority of Americans find such language offensive.

Story 2: In deep blue Connecticut, a Psychiatry Security Review Board filled with social workers and appointed by Democrats has approved the early release of a cannibal axe murderer from a secure mental health facility, a man who infamously consumed his victim’s brain and eyeball with chopsticks followed by sake.

Cannibal Freed

Tyree Smith, 48, was convicted of killing and eating Angel “Tun Tun” Gonzalez in 2011, having been declared “not guilty by reason of insanity” by three judges and sentenced to 60 years in a high-security psychiatric center.

Yet on Friday, the board, appointed by Connecticut’s Democratic Governor Ned Lamont and consisting of six members, one of whom is a psychiatrist, voted to release Smith 50 years early, ignoring objections from both his and his victim’s families, because he promised to adhere to his medication regimen.

The board concluded that Smith didn’t currently have cravings for human flesh but assured them he’d reach out for help if the urge arose. Comforting, right? Not really.

Four Republican state senators issued a joint statement denouncing Smith’s conditional release as “mind-boggling… In what universe is this acceptable?”

In the Democratic universe, evidently, since no Democrat lawmaker has uttered a word to assuage public concerns over the potential of a cannibalistic killer roaming free without supervision.

Republican State Rep. Devin Carney highlighted that when the board was asked if Smith was likely to re-offend if he failed to take his medications, they regrettably confirmed he most likely would. “The decision to trust an insane murderer’s pledge to not re-offend is an excessively risky gamble,” he remarked.

According to Connecticut law, the board is legally obligated to balance public safety with the plight of the insane individual — but most would argue that Smith ought to complete his sentence.

Carney has been advocating for a bill that would mandate the board to prioritize “the protection of society” as the paramount concern, relegating the well-being of the acquitted to a secondary priority.

This seems like common sense. Naturally, Connecticut’s progressive Democratic supermajority is unlikely to support it.

If Smith happens to come to New York and preys on subway riders, let’s not forget that Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg has ensured there won’t be anyone around to intervene.

This encapsulates the Democratic approach to law and order, where the unchecked freedom of psychopaths, murderous lunatics, and criminals takes precedence over the public’s right to navigate safely on the streets funded by their taxes.

Is it any surprise that the Democratic Party’s approval ratings have hit unprecedented lows?

Democrats are out in the cold not thanks to Trump, but rather to their own ineffectiveness, reduced to feebly protesting while singing century-old union songs. Their agenda is unappealing.

With their tactics dwindling to tantrums and crude language, they’ve come to realize that their past mischief no longer resonates. All they have left are statements like “Elon is a jerk” and “Forget Trump.”

It’s truly disheartening.

Last week, a telling example of their impotence was displayed by Sen. Adam Schiff and four other uninspired male Democrats — astonishingly, that’s still permissible — who set up a makeshift podium in the chilly outdoors to protest against Kash Patel.

Whether it was merely a poorly-attended rally or an ineffective press event, it felt lackluster. Their hearts evidently weren’t in it, as Patel was confirmed as FBI director just hours later, sending former CIA director and anti-Trump figure John Brennan into a frenzy.

“I’ve found myself on Kash Patel’s enemies list,” he lamented on MSNBC.

Panic Mode

Instead of articulating a viable alternative vision for America, Democrats are glued to filing numerous lawsuits to impede Trump’s executive actions and engaging in scare tactics regarding Elon Musk’s DOGE audit of the federal government.

They’re in utter panic mode as Musk’s astute team unveils a slew of grifts and corruption that have come to define their party.

There’s little room to deflect the alarming information pouring out of DOGE at a steady pace, such as the $2 billion awarded last April to a newly-formed nonprofit connected to the unsuccessful Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams.

“We have no idea what all they have on us,” Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) cried during a congressional session.

Meanwhile, the loyal media advocates for Democrats are falling like dominoes, as their lies lose traction. The latest casualty is MSNBC’s chief race-baiter “Joyless” Reid, who has lost at least half her viewer base since the election. Her show “The ReidOut” will be canceled this week, according to The New York Times.

During a recent appearance on CNN, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries attempted to paint a picture of Democratic resurgence and Republican downfall, only for Jake Tapper to pull him back to reality.

“But, congressional Republicans’ polling is around 40%. Congressional Democrats’ polling is around 20%. So, that presents an issue for you,” Tapper interjected.

The Democrats find themselves devoid of answers, a coherent message, and leadership. Their most promising candidate for 2028, Kamala Harris, is the first contender in nearly a century to lose every single county.

“Some perceive the flames on our horizons, the encroaching waters in our cities, the gathering shadows over our democracy,” Harris noted last week while accepting an award for “leadership” from the NAACP.

“And [we] contemplate, what is our next step?”

Harris is at a loss, as are all of her counterparts.

Yet this is not a positive scenario for America. A healthy democracy necessitates two competing parties.

Let’s hope the Democrats manage to turn things around. Just not too soon.
