James Boasberg Recuses Himself: Too Conflicted to Oversee Trump Deportation Case!

Federal Judge James Boasberg is filled with indignation, alleging that the Trump administration is acting in “bad faith” regarding his directive to halt deportation flights transporting violent offenders to El Salvador.

As is typical with those fixated on Trump, Boasberg is projecting.

He’s the one exhibiting bad faith by engaging with this case (or any Trump-related matter) at all.

His daughter, Katharine Boasberg, is employed by a pro-crime nonprofit named Partners for Justice, which is funded by millions in taxpayer dollars and run by a leftist critic of the Laken Riley Act (i.e., someone who advocates for more crime by illegal immigrants, not less).

Regardless of what else Partners for Justice claims to be, it stands firmly against the ideological stance of the Trump administration in this legal dispute.

And Boasberg’s daughter works there.

By the way, don’t just take our word for it—it reeks of impropriety.

Once it came to light that Boasberg’s daughter was employed there (hmmm, wonder if Daddy had a hand in it?), Partners swiftly removed her staff bio from its website

What’s the reasoning behind that if her presence there is entirely appropriate?

Imagine if a judge had a similar conflict while making a ruling against President Joe Biden.

The media would be in an uproar for days. Democracy! Norms! Fascism!

Yet Boasberg is permitted to carry on without consequence.

Presidential actions, including those of Trump, are subject to legal examination, as are the actions of all presidents.

However, the blatant and disturbing nature of the conflict here should raise serious concerns for everyone.

Judge, recuse yourself now before you further tarnish your reputation and the integrity of the profession.
