JD Vance is being set up for success by the media through their distorted attacks on him.

During a cold open for his 2022 Senate campaign ad, J.D. Vance posed the question, “Are you a racist?”

Vance criticized the media for attacking those who are concerned about the rising number of illegal immigrants crossing the southern border under the Biden administration.

His argument was familiar to conservatives, highlighting how the left-wing establishment uses defamatory insults to silence individuals with unpopular views.

Fast forward to Wednesday night, when Vance accepted the Republican vice-presidential nomination, and MSNBC seemed to validate Vance’s argument.

Previewing Vance’s speech, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow made controversial comments linking “Lord of the Rings” to far-right figures.

Maddow’s comments, similar to something Alex Jones might say about frogs, insinuated connections between Vance and far-right ideologies.

She went on to mention Peter Thiel and Vance’s venture capital firm, Narya, suggesting links to Aryanism.

Following Vance’s speech, MSNBC’s Alex Wagner speculated about white nationalism in his remarks.

Wagner claimed there were “Easter eggs of white nationalism” in Vance’s speech, pointing to his family history references.

These attacks on Vance were not just baseless but also unfounded.

Moreover, they are likely to work in Vance’s favor by drawing attention to him.

Similar to how constant criticism strengthened Trump’s position, these attacks might have a similar effect on Vance.

Rather than legitimate criticisms, the media are resorting to absurd accusations against Vance.

Despite Vance’s flaws, the media’s relentless criticisms might actually benefit him in the long run.

Instead of focusing on legitimate concerns, the media’s attacks on Vance are nonsensical and misguided.

Don’t be surprised if Vance, Trump’s new apprentice, uses these attacks to his advantage.
