Jen Psaki’s Deceptions Exposed in New Book, Letters
The Problem: False Claims in Jen Psaki’s Book
Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki has been caught publishing false claims in her new book regarding President Biden’s actions during a ceremony for fallen service members (“Pinocchio Psaki,” May 15).
It’s not surprising, as Psaki’s role at the White House involved speaking untruths to the American public. She did it with such finesse.

The return of fallen soldiers is a moment of great significance for our country and our president.
This event is always a historic one. Psaki defended President Biden against critics claiming he was disrespectful for checking his watch during a ceremony several years ago.
However, Biden has a history of insensitivity towards fallen heroes. A few months ago in New York, instead of paying respects to a fallen NYPD detective, he attended a party raking in campaign contributions. Psaki’s book should be removed from shelves.

Jen Psaki deliberately included false claims in her book about President Biden’s actions during a solemn ceremony for fallen service members returning from Afghanistan.
Psaki, like many on the left, is so arrogant that she believes she can fabricate stories to promote her narrative.
Her actions were an insult to the families of those who lost their lives under Biden’s command as president.

The publishing house, Scribner, has promised to correct the inaccuracies in Psaki’s book in future reprints and e-book versions.
Reprints? That seems unlikely. The book may already be discounted, and an e-book version may not be a priority for Scribner.
This is a typical left-wing approach to addressing a mistake.

The Issue: Duke Students Protesting Jerry Seinfeld
Why did Duke University graduates walk out on Jerry Seinfeld’s commencement speech (“Dukies’ yada yada intifada,” May 12)?
Seinfeld’s speech was apolitical and did not mention the Hamas-Israel conflict.
His only “offenses” were meeting with families of Israelis kidnapped by Hamas and supporting Israel’s right to exist.
It’s absurd that these anti-Israel individuals couldn’t handle hearing a pro-Israel comedian at their graduation ceremony.

Jerry Seinfeld delivered an insightful speech to Duke University’s class of ’24 about their privilege and responsibility.
He encouraged students to embrace their privilege, give back to society, and earn their place in the world.

Ask the protesting Duke graduates if they would rather support a free Palestine or have some of Jerry’s wealth.
It’s likely that money would be the preferred choice.
